"Looking Out for Sarah" is the tale of Perry, the guide dog, and Sarah. The story follows them through a day in their lives and is told from a very different close-to-the-ground viewpoint of Perry. Although, Perry likes to run and chase balls, he takes his job for looking out for Sarah seriously. Through Perry's eyes, we see them on a typical day - running errands, working, playing and meeting a friend. After Sarah gives a concert, Perry dreams when he and Sarah walked 300 miles to raise awareness about guide dogs. The story shows us how Lab guide dogs help the blind, Sarah's busy life as a musician and teacher and their symbiotic partnership. Written and illustrated by Glenna Lang, the 32-page 8.75"w x 11.25"h hardback is in great condition and is based on a real Labrador guide dog named Perry and his owner, Sarah.
