(The Original West End production opened May 30th, 1947 at London's His Majesty's Theatre, later moved to the Lyric Theatre and ran for 787 performances. The Original Broadway production opened September 30th, 1948 at the Martin Beck Theatre in New York City and ran for 260 performances. The Australian production opened September 16th, 1949 in Sydney and played 28 weeks in all of the Australian and New Zealand capital cities.) .....
