This volume focuses on the issues of: Migration in the EU, particularly in France, Italy, and the UK Discrimination in education (focusing on D.H. and others vs. Czech Republic, but also education discrimination in Slovakia and the Baltics Representation, both political as well as media representations, focusing on the Czech Republic and Lithuania. This volume addresses some of the latest developments on Roma issues in the EU particularly in terms of migration and education and discuss some of the political implications of the increasing prominence of Roma in the news as well as in the political arena.
About the Author
Anca Pusca is Senior Lecturer in International Studies at Goldsmiths University
of London and is a founding member of the Center for the Study of the Balkans.
Her research interests include minority and migration issues, EU enlargement,
post-communist transitions and cultural and aesthetic political interventions.
