This rare 40” X 60” two-sheet movie poster was salvaged from the storeroom of the iconic Guild Theater in San Francisco, before it closed in 1987, and is very well preserved, in it's original condition. The poster was stored folded, and is being offered in the original, unrestored condition. As you can see from the scans, poster is in exceptional unrestored condition, with only the original fold lines apparent. This poster should really be preserved by having it linen backed, and the majority of the condition issues would be greatly improved by that process, but I leave that decision to the new owner. Overall, a very attractive example of the poster, with excellent paper quality. An extremely rare vintage poster. NOT a reproduction, copy, or print, but the original theater poster supplied to the venues who showed the film.
