Item Description

An interesting item, not sure what industry it was meant to be use, but here is a wind up automatic time switch.  Not exactly sure how it works, but the smaller inner wheel turn with the leaf spring then going post to post about every 10 seconds, 30 posts in all for roughly 5 minutes a revolution.  Would have controlled something.  Has 3 leads on the bottom, has a badge that reads 110 volts 4 amps.  Marked as made by the Boston Automatic Time Switch Co and marked Patented.  Mounted to a piece of slate, the workings and housing look to be largely brass.  Has the key.  Offered as-is.
