Publisher: T.C. & E.C. Jack, undated but 1915. Bound in blue paper covered boards with titles and illustration laid on to top board. Good condition, with some light wear to the cover illustration, and losses to the head and foot of the spine. One gift inscription on the front endpaper, dated 1918. A few foxing spots to the title page, and here and there throughout, but mainly clean and bright.
Illustrated with a full colour frontispiece three further full colour plates by P Woodroffe, as called for. Also there are chapter head pieces in line drawings. An attractive and uncommon edition of this fairy tale.
Large octavo, 24cm tall (9.5 inches) tall, 63 pages.
