1. GrownUp Marie of 1941; Art by Buell
Here's a bookmark quartet to Cut and Use.This time I have put the doll on one bookmark, and her clothes on the others. This allows me to make the doll and clothes larger. It can make a nice gift for one person to enjoy the set of four. Given separately they would be pretty, but not make much sense without a doll...or the doll without her clothes. The artist, Buell, was a top pin-up artist, who also painted paper dolls. Most of the paper dolls by him were noted by the costumes having heavy outlining in red or blue.
2. Londy Shirt Card Ladies, 1932 Art by Mary Adele Zeigler
I've put together 2 of my favorite things: 1930s Deco style paper dolls from printed shirt cards used by laundries, paired with 1930s Deco style wallpapers as backgrounds for them; all in a bookmark format. What FUN!
3. ThatBride
Here's a pretty 60s paper doll bride arranged ina four-bookmark format. You cut and use them as they are, or enhance them with trimmings.
