A few words from the Pack:

The PEACOCK is one of our most handsome butterflies and is fortunately still common. It may be found almost anywhere in the countryside and also in parks and gardens where it is fond of visiting flowers from which it takes nectar with its long tongue.

Its favourite wild flowers seem to be knapweed and thistle, while in gardens it is particularly attracted to buddleia which is appropriately known as Butterfly Bush ... "
