IMPORTANT (Read before purchasing): 
There are two different sizes of plugs depending on the year model of your bike. The difference is if the low speed idle circuit jet is "Pressed-in" or "Screwed-in". The press in low jet passage has a smaller inside diameter and uses a smaller plug (as pictured in this listing)

The difference in the size of the idle passage plug needed is mostly identified by year.

78-81 CX500 has "Pressed-in" idle jets and uses a smaller plug as shown here in this listing.  This is what you are buying here.  (see note below for some 81 models)

82 up CX500 large plug (see our other listing)

Note; there are some 81 CX500's with "screw-in" low speed jets. Somewhere in that year Honda started with the "screw-in" low jet.

Total Height: 8mm tall

Height (not including lip): 5mm

Lip Diameter at top of plug: 7mm

Taper Diameter (starting from just below the top lip): 6mm to 5mm dia. at the bottom of the plug.
