French Bobbin Lace and Gold Roses! Vintage German Hand Embroidered Tablecloth

Hi!! Welcome friends!! This auction is for an exquisite tablecloth that will leave you speechless. This beautiful tablecloth features beautiful French lace. This beautiful bobbin lace creates insets that created a checkerboard pattern. The lace is also used along the edges of the tablecloth. Cotton fabric squares sit between these lace insets. These squares are hand embroidered with a gold floral motif. Inside each square is another unique lace inset. So glamorous. So beautiful. This tablecloth from Germany, and is a beautiful antique tablecloth. The lace insets that border the squares is 4 1/4" wide. The lace on the edges of the tablecloth is 5" wide. I love that the fabric squares are a yellowish cream color that is accentuated beautifully with the gold hand embroidery. The rose pattern for the hand embroidery is lovely and adds another layer of beauty to a magnificent tablecloth. Each one of these fabric squares, not including the outer bordering lace, measures 13 1/4" by 12 1/2". This tablecloth is a nice large size. It is 95" by 55". Just imagine how much of this exquisite French lace was used to create this work of art. I literally consider this to be art. It is so beautiful that is should be in a museum. But I know that it will be loved and cherished in your home! It is in excellent condition, and I know that you will love this large and lovely tablecloth!

I have recently become part of a new payment processing system. The funds are no longer available immediately as they were in the past. I am unable to ship until funds are not pending. I have allowed 5 days handling time because of this new system and the uncertainty of when the funds will reach the available status. It seems that in most cases, the funds change from pending to available in 24 - 48 business hours. So more than likely, 5 business days will not be necessary for handling time.

I do not profit on shipping. If shipping is less than expected, I will send a refund.

If color is important, please do not rely solely on the pictures. Sometimes the pictures do not accurately represent the color. I try to provide lots of pictures so that you can see every flaw but the color is not always accurate in the pictures. I do my best to describe the colors in the description. If you have any questions regarding color, please ask before purchasing. If you are still not sure, please do not purchase. I do not want you to be disappointed. Sometimes, the true color of an item can only be experienced in person.

I love my international customers, and I am happy to ship internationally. But please note that I ONLY SHIP VIA PRIORITY MAIL with INSURANCE IN A BOX. I do not ship in envelopes. Please be advised that the post office rates are a bit expensive, especially after the most recent rate increase. It is much more cost effective to purchase multiple items. I do not charge handling fees, and I pay all overage costs. Most of the time the shipping I pay to the post office is more than the buyer actually pays. PLEASE BE SURE TO EMAIL IN ADVANCE FOR A SHIPPING QUOTE before making your purchase. My goal is to make the transaction a pleasurable experience for both the buyer and seller.
