Which is 5" long and has a diameter of 4 1/4", in the center of the handle is a piece of Buffalo horn the other two pieces are Rams horn, and the last piece - end of the handle is the thickest part its over 5" dia. And as you can clearly see this beast is full tang construction nothing is stronger than 1 piece of metal. And the Blade 440HC, and its 11" long with a blade edge of 10" on the spine is tooling giving this knife looks and charactor plus a blood groove, for safety Trophy Stag put a 4 1/4" Brass Finger Guard on it so you will never need to worry about cutting off a finger or more (safety) Trophy Stag is one of Frost Cutlery brands who made this blade in Solingen Germany and the horn is from Africa, and this Bowie comes with a brown high end leather belt sheath that you can see in the pic's. Most manuf. have gotten away from making very large knives like these now, but Trophy Stag and Whitetail Cutlery still make a few huge Bowie knives, and both a fantastic Camp knives, they can handle any / all tasks that come up in camp plus there great for protection something we all need to think about in todays world. You will have everything taken care of plus a very good looking knife. As of 8/1/22 these are out of production, will they make more no one is talking but when we find out we will tell you. Now we can put it into the power house / heavy duty line of knives, knives with this kind of weight will cut what ever with very little help from you.  We now have 19 different Trophy Stag knives from folders to 16" and no they are not going to say made in the U.S.A. they are designed here and the material comes from the states and Germany but the sheath is stitched and the knife is packaged in Pakistan so that will be etched on the German made blade, all part of the International Trade Laws, 90% of the knives made today will have China , Pakistan, or Taiwan on them yet none of the material comes from there, so we hope you don't let a name stop you from buying a great knife.
