Santa Snowman Delivers Gifts to Snowman Family! Vintage German Christmas Hand Embroidered Advent Calendar
Hi!! Welcome friends! This auction is for a beautiful vintage German advent calendar. This will instantly make you smile. I believe the fabric is a jute blend. It features printed and hand embroidered designs. I love the combination which provides a unique look. This vintage advent calendar features a cute snowman dressed as Santa. After all, snowmen believe in Santa too! He is carrying a sack filled to the brink with toys and gifts. He even has a bell to ring to announce his arrival. Note, there is the #24 on Santa snowman with a hoop to attach a gift or candy for Christmas Eve. Now, we also have a sweet loving snowman family. Momma snowman is wearing her apron and has a scarf on her head. She has probably been busy with her Christmas preparations. But she has taken a break to pull the sled of the little snowman. He is such a cutie as he takes a ride on his sled. He is very warm with his cozy red hat. Then you have Daddy snowman with his skis. Isn't it adorable that greenery makes the snowman family's hair? After all, snowmen definitely enjoy playing in the snow, right? I love the printed snowflakes with their hand embroidered silver metallic accents. I even love that a sweet bird is looking onto the festivities. There is a beautiful Christmas tree decorated with candles. This lovely advent calendar is green and features hoops at the top for hanging the piece. At the bottom, you will find the numbers 1 - 23. All the numbers have hoops except for the number 1. With its age and the passing of time, the #1 hoop was lost, but you could easily replace it with another hoop. Otherwise, this piece is in excellent condition. This wonderful piece measures 30 1/4" by 15". Isn't it lovely the concept of hanging small gifts or even pieces of candy for the first 24 days of December?What a great way to celebrate the family with this snowman family? It is so hard for me to part with this lovely work of German craftsmanship, but this is the time of the year to celebrate with others, so I will allow you to celebrate the love of Christmas with this wonderful German collectible.

If color is important, please do not rely solely on the pictures. Sometimes the pictures do not accurately represent the color. I try to provide lots of pictures so that you can see every flaw but the color is not always accurate in the pictures. I do my best to describe the colors in the description. If you have any questions regarding color, please ask before purchasing. If you are still not sure, please do not purchase. I do not want you to be disappointed. Sometimes, the true color of an item can only be experienced in person.
