This is a pair of previously-owned, adult-large (L), neon-pink athletic shorts with “Instinct” printed on the front and embroidered on the back. They measure approximately 18 inches across the waist (when laid flat), 4½ inches along the inseam, and are in great condition (Instinct brand, 100% nylon).
Instinct was a surf brand founded by South African surf legend Shaun Tomson in 1978. The clothing was huge in the late ‘70s through the mid ‘80s, endorsed by world champion surfers Tom Carroll and Barton Lynch. It was relaunched in Europe in 2001 but did not regain its former glory….
