I purchased a new inverted V tyre from Audio Improvements in Portugal, and it had a worse wow and flutter reading than my standard silicone O ring tyre.

The inverted V tyre took ages to manipulate the peak of the V into a central position. Even when achieved the w&f reading was 0.210 compared to my O ring tyre with a reading of 0.195.

My O ring tyre is also so much easier to fit. It only needs slight manipulation as the round shape has infinite contact points of tangency compared with the inverted V which has just the one.

Original Lenco plastic wheels have a slight wobble, mine is 0.34mm. With the inverted V just having one contact point it will move laterally along the conical motor shaft approximately 0.34mm giving speed variations and w&f.

With my round O ring tyre with infinite contact points the 0.34mm of wobble is less noticeable.

I used an original Lenco plastic idler wheel on the same set up and my tyre was better.

This is for plastic idler wheels only.
The original tyre (tire) often hardens with age and creates a lot of noise.
Just prise the old one off and slip on this new one and slightly manipulate so the fine seam is upper most so you can tell that it is not twisted.
If you want a superior performance see my other listing for a silicone one.
You are receiving just the tyre (tire) only. The main photo shows the original brittle one prised off next to the idler wheel with a new one fitted and the replacement to the left of that. It is just the replacement you will be receiving.
