If your WC requires several pressings on a conventional handle to make the siphon flush properly or at all, then the chances are that the large washer in the diaphragm is damaged. They can crack, disintegrate, fold over and any one of these faults can stop the WC flush mechanism from working properly.

If this item doesn't fit exactly it can be trimmed with scissors
