Beautiful old set of miniature oil on board paintings of what appear to be Dutch homes.  These are greatly detailed with old world coloration.  I am not sure of the exact age or country of origin of these paintings.  They belonged to my husband's mother who traveled extensively through Europe during the 1950s.  She picked up many paintings during her travels and these are among the gems that she had.

The painting of the single home has an artist's signature but it is located under the edge of the matting.  We have not removed the matte to look at the signature.

Each painting measures 2" X 3" and is framed in a very detailed wood frame measuring 8" X 7".

The photographs simply do not do this pair of paintings justice.  I believe you will highly pleased with them.
