Exceptional figural vase by Unger & Schneider. Mark is the I through G with "dep" beside (1879 to 1886).  Highly detailed piece.  Elegant lady riding a horse through the countryside.  Gilt accents.  Extremely nice painted detail on face.  Minor paint wear as shown on dress.

Rough edged bisque as typical of most Grafenthal/Unger & Schneider pieces I've seen.  The horse's back ear is not present, but I don't know if it was broken or just part of the mold.  It is not noticeable.

The piece stands 6.5" tall  to the top of her plumed hat.  It measures 6" X 3.5" at the base.

Beautiful example of German bisque work.  A wonderful piece to add to any collection!
