This is a good quality replacement very short, stubby or bullet type aerial mast to suit many VW models with a “Beesting” type roof aerial base on the rear of the roof.

It will also fit other models with a similar rear roof aerial requiring an M5 thread but you will need to satisfy yourself as to suitability.

It is manufactured in the EU to Original Equipment (OE) standards and should not be confused with cheaper copies of after-market universal aerials using thread adapters, usually manufactured in China.

The mast is 65 mm long with a 16 mm diameter flared end, matt black flexible aerial shaft. It has an integral  5 mm male thread, so is superior in performance to cheaper after-market copies which come with additional thread adapters.

It is ideal if you wish to personalise or customise your car. Ideal on taller MPV, people carriers and 4 x 4 models if you wish to avoid damage from garage doors and overhead obstructions.

Please note a very short aerial will sometimes lead to signal loss in some weak signal areas but will usually give adequate signal strength for FM with a good quality radio installation.
