The Four Seasons Change! Vintage German Tablecloth

Hi!! Welcome friends!! This auction is for a beautiful hand embroidered vintage German tablecloth. This tablecloth has a very unique motif, and I love it! The designs on each side of the tablecloth feature one of the four seasons. I love the winter scene with the cute snowman and birds. I love how each season incorporates a tree into the scene. If you love tulips, mushrooms, and strawberries, you will love this tablecloth. Personally, I love the baskets of flowers.  The hand embroidery is beautiful. The colors are so pretty as well. This white tablecloth is in excellent condition. This beautiful tablecloth measures 31 3/4" by 31 3/4". This tablecloth is unique and I have never seen anything like it before. I probably will never see another one like it again. It took a lot of soul searching to part with this tablecloth. But I want the opportunity for one of my wonderful customers to own this gorgeous tablecloth! 

I love this style of tablecloth. These "toppers" are actually a nice German tradition. In Germany, they put a plain colored tablecloth on the table. Then they place these "toppers" catacorner in the center of the table. Then when they go to eat, they remove the topper so it will not become dirty or soiled. I love the tradition. It just seems to have charm. Why not start this charming tradition in your home for the upcoming holiday season or even all year long?
