This listing is for an original old aluminum chassis rail or engine plate badge, with "26 / N / L58969" stamped. It is 3 15/16" or 100 mm in overall length and has two original mounting holes'

I THINK this badge plate is from a post WW2 Engish car with 2.6 litre engine such as an Austin, Morris or Wokseley etc.

It is weathered and has a couple of crease marks but otherwise remains in good condition with patina.

A nice original example of this post WW2 English car badge plate.
