Thread can make your smart home more responsive, robust, and secure the network becomes, while keeping power consumption low.
Onvis smart button HS2 will automatically connect to the home hub via Thread when there is a Thread-enabled Apple home hub at your home.

Tips

HomeKit over Thread only. The Onvis HS2 switch REQUIRES to work with a Thread enabled Apple Home hub devices (as listed below).

Onvis HS2 switch is NOT COMPATIBLE with systems of Matter, Android, Alexa or Google.
Make sure of good Thread connection between the hub and HS2 switch. Thick wall might block Thread Radio. When the distance is too long, add some Thread router devices like a HomePod mini or an Onvis Thrrad smart plugs to extend the Thread network.
If there are Non-Thread enabled Apple Home hub devices in your Home, make sure the MAIN hub is Thread enabled (in Home settings of iOS Home app). If the response time is 3-5 seconds, the connection has been switched to Bluetooth. Please check the Hub settings.
WAIT for the iOS upgrade of the Apple hub to complete, and POWER CYCLE the Apple Home hubs after their upgrading. The Thread connection will be paused during the iOS upgrading process and the HS2 switch will seem unresponsive.
When the HS2 suddenly stops responding, please check the battery level, and try power cycling the Apple hub and the HS2.

Controlling Multiple Devices
