A landmark release in the UK jazz‑fusion renaissance, Yussef Kamaal’s Black Focus blends broken‑beat rhythms, warm analogue keys and fluid jazz improvisation.
Driven by Yussef Dayes’ razor‑tight drumming and Kamaal Williams’ deep, soulful keys, the album moves between funk, experimental jazz and London’s underground club energy.
A modern classic and one of the most influential UK jazz records of the 2010s.
