Genuine Nissan manual choke control cable and knob assembly, removed from a 1984 Nissan Patrol MQ 160 fitted with the P40 petrol engine.

This is the dashboard-operated choke control used to operate the carburettor choke during cold starting. The original black control knob is marked with the choke symbol and LOCK.

Includes the choke knob, control shaft/cable, outer cable housing, dashboard mounting bracket, spring and adjustment/mounting hardware as pictured.

Condition: Used original part with considerable age-related wear. Surface rust and oxidation are visible on the mounting bracket, cable fittings and adjustment hardware. The knob has scratches and general wear, while the cable and housing show dirt, marks and deterioration consistent with age.

The inner cable appears intact in the supplied photos. Its full operation and smoothness have not been tested after removal, so buyers should inspect the photos carefully and compare the mounting arrangement, cable length and ends with their original part.
