Used until recently, wired directly in so no plug, was working well before removal. Recommend that an electrician wires it in for buyer, or fit a plug
There is a spinner which fits over the bulb, the heat makes it spin to create the flickering effect, see photos

It is narrower and flat at the back, we think it was intended to fit a firegrate but we used it freestanding on a stone slab in our cottage.
