This is a Fender Custom Shop Master Grade 1963 Stratocaster Metallic Black.

The Master Grade series is still highly rated! Among them, the popular MGN serial period is now in stock as a used consignment!

This is a rare 1963 spec, top quality bird's eye/flame maple, Madagascar rose fingerboard, and rare metallic black color!

Top-quality maple with just the right amount of bird's eye and thick, deep flame heather that was typical of a custom shop at the time.

At a glance, you can tell that this is a carefully selected high-grade material that is hard to come across these days, when wood is severely depleted.

The fingerboard also uses the finest Madagascar rose. The glossy fingerboard surface has a deep color and gives you the feeling of being filled with meat.

This also gives you a sense of quality that is incomparable to fingerboards that use Indian rose in recent years.

The pickup is equipped with an original PU hand-wound by Abbey for master grade.

A warm tone with exquisite sparkle, a strong sense of attack and separation, and a superb sound that feels nostalgic somehow.

The quality of the materials is of course high, but the solid resonance of both the body and neck is thought to have a major influence on the thick, glossy sound of this instrument.

-Status-

The neck is straight and the truss rod has plenty of room. Frets and nuts are slightly worn, with about 60% of the frets remaining.

*It is originally a low vintage fret. It has been rubbed together, and there is no local buzz or sound clogging.

There are marks on the stand on the neck, and marks on the foam material used for shock absorption on the back of the body.

There are other small scratches and small dents, but I think the condition is good considering the model year.
