Up for sale is a highly sought-after piece of 1980s retro gaming history: the 1982 Conso Space Shuttle Game Watch. Released during the height of the early NASA Space Shuttle era, this wrist-mounted arcade game is incredibly hard to find today and is a true holy grail for vintage LCD and Game & Watch collectors. The watch features a uniquely wide LCD display matrix where players use the front-facing red push buttons to maneuver a space fighter, dodging and blasting incoming alien hazards. Made in Hong Kong, this LCD watch features a unique design inspired by the Space Shuttle, showcasing the flair for innovation and creativity that was popular in the 1980s. With its working mechanism, this item is not only a valuable collectable but also a nostalgic piece that encapsulates the excitement and curiosity of that era. Functional Status: Fully tested and working great! The game tracks score, the display segments are dark and fully visible, and the buttons are responsive. Audio: Sound effects/beeps are crisp and fully functional. Cosmetics: In good vintage condition with minor surface wear, light scratches on the casing, and crystal consistent with its age. Please inspect the photos carefully and closely. Strap: Comes equipped with the original black strap. Power: Battery compartment has been cleaned and new cells have been added. Please note: the back battery compartment plate/cover clips are broken, hence why I have had to put a small amount of duck tape to keep the cover closed, and secured. Ready for your collection or delivery (postage cost separate).
