Nice vintage railroad book lot featuring the complete Volumes 1 through 6 of The Northeast Railroad Scene by Bob Pennisi. This series provides a photographic and historical look at several major Northeastern railroads during the years leading up to the formation of Conrail.

These publications contain period railroad photography and historical information covering locomotives, trains, equipment and operations. Having Volumes 1–6 together makes this an especially nice group for collectors interested in Northeastern railroad history and the railroads that preceded Conrail.
Condition: These are vintage used publications and show varying amounts of age and storage wear. Some of the covers have visible staining/spotting, as shown in the photos. There is no noticeable odor. The staining appears consistent with exposure during storage by a previous owner. Some books also have price stickers, discoloration and general handling wear. Please examine all photos carefully for the condition of each volume.
