This hand painted porcelain tea cup and saucer has the blue line mark of Johann Gottlob Nathusius of Alt Haldensleben, Saxony, Germany. Dating to approximately 1830-1850, the set is hand painted with different tiny landscapes of lake and mountain scenes, as well as pink, and gold gilding. The cup measures approximately 2 5/8" tall, and 3 3/4" wide, not including the handle. The saucer measures 6" in diameter. It is very good quality, and the porcelain has a thickness to it. The saucer has some roughness and several little nicks to the unglazed foot. There are no other chips or cracks. There is some wear to the painted landscapes and gold gilding. Please see my photos for closeups. Thanks for looking!
