They were stored on a mug shelf for display only since the bicentennial. they are all in very good condition. i am sorry about the high cost for shipping.But mugs are very expensive to ship.They have to be packed very carefully.So they don't break, and the postal rates have just skyrocketed the last few years. each mug will be bubble wrapped separately to avoid breakage.
