WHAT WE SAW
Serial ZR108Z68
Power-on hours: 2871
Reallocated sectors: 568
Current pending sectors: 0
SMART overall health: PASSED (at the first read, before any writes)
Firmware 0001, 512-byte logical / 4096-byte physical sectors, 5400-class RPM.

Although SMART still said PASSED, 568 reallocated sectors is a lot. When we started overwriting the
drive, it produced write errors about 38 GB in and then dropped off the SATA bus. We did not retry.

DATA - NOT WIPED
Only the first ~38 GB were overwritten with zeros. The rest of the disk was not wiped and still
holds whatever the previous owner left on it.

GOOD FOR
Parts: the circuit board, heads or other components, a donor for an ST8000DM004 repair, or
data-recovery practice.

WHAT YOU GET
One bare 3.5-inch SATA hard drive, the serial above. It came out of an external USB enclosure; no
enclosure, caddy, screws or cables are included.
