Up for sale is a wonderful piece of mid-century tobacco advertising history: a vintage promotional deck of playing cards issued by Raleigh Cigarettes. These iconic cards were historically obtainable only by saving and redeeming the famous Brown & Williamson premium coupons found on the backs of cigarette packs. The outer tuck box features an incredibly clever design styled to perfectly replicate a vintage 20-count soft pack of Raleigh Filter Tip cigarettes, complete with a portrait of Sir Walter Raleigh and a faux "20 Class A Cigarettes" tax stamp graphic on the top. The side panel bears the authentic, classic manufacturing stamp from The United States Playing Card Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Condition Details: Card Deck: Opened and in Excellent, crisp condition. The deck contains a complete, standard 52-card set (Ace through King in all four suits). Please note that the two promotional Jokers are not included. The card faces and backs are clean, smooth, and show very minimal handling.
Tuck Box: The cardboard outer box shows normal light vintage edge wear and structural integrity remains completely intact. Please note there is a clean handwritten marker annotation ("B.P.") on the left front face of the box, as clearly shown in the photos.

A fantastic, affordable addition to any collection of unique playing cards, vintage tobacciana, or mid-century advertising Americana.
