Up for sale is a beautiful, highly detailed **vintage mid-century leather-wrapped rearing horse statue**, likely dating from the 1960s to 1970s. This striking piece features a rigid inner armature tightly covered in real dark leather skin, showcasing excellent muscular definition. It is outfitted with a miniature stitched English leather saddle, bridle, reins, and tiny brass stirrups.

This statue is being sold **as-is for restoration, repair, or rustic display**. It displays authentic vintage patina and structural wear consistent with age:

* **Structural Cracks:** There are two distinct hairline fractures in the leather skin/inner mold—one on the rear lower leg and one on the upper inner joint of the raised front right leg (see close-up photos). 

* **Leather Wear:** There is a patch of missing leather surface layer on the left flank/hip area under the stirrup strap, exposing the lighter inner composite layer. Minor scuffs and aging lines are present throughout the finish.

* **Tack Condition:** The miniature leather chest strap shows heavy drying and splitting near the metal rivet fastener. The straps are brittle and should be handled with care.
