GREENCYCLE HSe-241 compatible tubing creates printed identifiers for individual cables and wires. Black text stands out against the white tube, helping users locate a cable ID during installation, inspection and maintenance. The material is a hollow sleeve that slides over a cable, rather than an adhesive label wrapped around its surface.

A compatible Brother P-touch printer uses thermal-transfer printing to place the chosen identifier on the tubing. No separate liquid-ink cartridge is required. Check your printer's HSe media support and the 17.7 mm tube width before ordering.

Two measurements.
Two different meanings.

The 17.7 mm (0.69 in) specification is the width of the hollow tube when flattened. It is not the cable's outside diameter, and the tubing is not a flat adhesive label.

Each cassette contains 1.5 m (4.92 ft) of tubing. This describes the material supplied per cassette, not the length of the short sample pictured. Check the quantity selected in the listing to confirm how many cassettes are included.

The tubing has a 2:1 shrink ratio. When heated correctly, it contracts around the cable to form a fitted identification sleeve. Choose the size using the outside diameter of the insulated cable.

The recommended cable outside diameter for this size is 5.4–10.6 mm (0.21–0.42 in). Measure before ordering, especially if a connector must pass through the tube. The 17.7 mm flattened width is a separate measurement.

A printer's ability to accept an ordinary label-tape cassette does not by itself establish compatibility with HSe heat-shrink tubing. Confirm that the exact printer model supports HSe media and the 17.7 mm width. Printing software or firmware requirements may also vary by model.

Workflow / From printing to installation

Steps for installing, printing and applying HSe-241 tubing

From cassette
to identified cable.

Insert the cassette into a compatible printer and print the desired cable ID directly onto the tubing. Cut the printed section according to the printer's instructions.

Slide the hollow sleeve over the cable before fitting a connector that would prevent it from passing through. Position the text for visibility, then apply heat evenly according to the heat-tool and cable manufacturers' instructions. Let the sleeve cool before handling the finished ID.

Black printing against the white tube helps distinguish letters, numbers and separators. This matters when neighboring cables have similar routes or IDs that differ by a single character.

Compatible thermal-transfer printing puts the chosen identifier on the tubing without a separate liquid-ink cartridge. Select readable characters, leave sufficient space around the text and check the printed ID before applying heat.

Once the printed sleeve is positioned and heated correctly, its identifier remains on the assigned cable for routine identification. This makes it easier to locate the intended wire during later checks.

Plan enough room for the characters and face the print toward the expected viewing direction. The finished appearance depends on print settings, cable diameter, sleeve placement and even heating.

Cable routes are not always straight. On a correctly sized cable, the sleeve can follow gentle bends while keeping the printed identifier on that cable instead of on a separate nearby tag.

Place the sleeve where its text can be viewed without forcing a sharp fold. Leave enough room for normal routing and follow the cable manufacturer's minimum-bend guidance.

Cables may be moved aside, traced by hand or inspected during maintenance. A correctly installed sleeve keeps the printed ID with its assigned cable, helping a technician locate the intended wire without searching for a tag attached elsewhere.

Face the printing toward the usual inspection position and avoid constant contact with sharp edges. Handling frequency and environmental conditions differ between installations.
