This listing is for a charming Japanese dragon ware sake set, in porcelain with raised Moriage decoration. The set includes a decanter, 6 cups, and one round serving tray. The decanter has a cat figure in the middle, and a bird perched on top. It makes a chirping sound when liquid is poured out. The 6 cups are all able to whistle when you inhale or sip at the little opening on the side. This set was likely made in one of the Kutani kilns in Japan, and dates to the mid to later 20th century. The decanter measures approximately 5 1/4" tall, 4 1/4" wide, and 1 1/4" in depth. The cups each measure 2" wide and 1 1/4" tall. The tray is approximately 7 3/8" in diameter. The set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or damage. There is some light surface wear. Please see my photos and thank you for viewing my listing!
