The Canon Speedlite 430 EZ is a professional spec hot shoe mounted electronic flash unit introduced in1989 as a replacement for 420 EZ, compatible with the entire EOS range of 35mm SLR's.

- Bounce & Swivel: Multi-directional movement allowing 0° to 90° upward tilt, 180° left swivel, and 90° right swivel for softening light.

DIGITAL COMPATIBILITY
Because it uses Canon's older A-TTL / TTL metering system rather than the modern E-TTL system, the 430 EZ will only work in full manual mode when mounted on a modern digital DSLR or mirrorless cameras. This powerful and versatile flash gun is still a popular, budget-friendly option for manual off-camera lighting setups using radio triggers.
