From a curated lusterware collection acquired from an antique dealer who was closing her shop,  lot of TWO antique Japanese hand-painted porcelain condiment sets. Total of 12 pieces.

Each has its original fitted caddy, salt and pepper shakers, covered mustard/condiment pot and small porcelain spoon.

One set features black and white floral decoration with green accents and gold-topped shakers on a cream fitted base with black handle; the underside is marked Made in Japan.

The second has colorful red floral and green leaf decoration with pale blue and gold accents, gold-topped shakers and a fitted cream caddy with gold handle.

Both display the distinctive hand-painted decoration and compact fitted forms associated with prewar Japanese export wares, circa 1920s–30s. Very good antique condition; mild surface age-wear. Please see photos.

Please see photos for details. Be sure to see my other listings for additional pieces from this extensive lusterware collection. Happy to combine shipping for extra savings.

I entrusted my mother and father's (Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz) memorabilia to Connectibles, and during the entire evaluation and auction process, never for a moment did I feel anything less than completely confident, protected and guided by experienced and compassionate professionals who love what they do. We got wonderful results and the best part... it was great fun!"
