This groin pouch is designed to carry essential gear and provide additional groin protection when fitted with a Militex ballistic insert.

Its design allows it to be attached to a plate carrier or body armor via a Velcro panel, serving as a functional tactical gear module.

I. Materials and Construction

The main material is 1000D Cordura (380 g/m²) featuring NIR treatment and a double polyurethane coating.

The material is resistant to wear, moisture, and lubricants.

The pouch features a rubberized, dual-slider zipper, allowing access to the compartment from either side.

A WJ puller is included for easy opening.

II. Functionality

The pouch features four compartments: three internal and one front pocket.

The front panel includes a Laser-Cut Velcro section with a MOLLE system for attaching patches and additional gear.

An elastic 10 cm wide strap for a tourniquet is located at the bottom.

The rear pocket closes with Velcro and is designed to hold the ballistic insert.

III. Ballistic Protection

The set includes a soft Militex ballistic insert.

The ballistic insert is made of UHMWPE and a synthetic non-woven material that acts as an additional shock-absorbing layer.

The insert is housed in a waterproof cover made of 100% nylon (170 g/m²) with a thermoplastic polyurethane coating.

The cover edges are sealed using ultrasonic welding. Laser cutting of ballistic materials is provided for, along with the option to manufacture panels to custom dimensions.

The ballistic panel meets the requirements of DSTU 8782:2018 for Protection Class 1.

Test results confirm that the panel provides protection against 9×18 mm and 9×19 mm pistol bullets, in accordance with the specified standard requirements.

Additionally, Class 1 ballistic panels are tested against the NATO STANAG V-50 standard, yielding a value of approximately 606.6 m/s. Key Specifications
