State Express 555 Cigarettes – five Tins made for BOAC c1960.
Five examples of the same Tin, all of which once contained 25 State Express 555 cigarettes. These are the ones that are slightly different to most examples as they were produced for BOAC. The name and emblem of the Airline are shown on top of and also on the underside of the lid. All are in good clean condition. A couple are pretty much perfect. One has a TINY ‘ding’ on a lid edge. And a couple show a tiny line where I can see a stain and minor paint loss where once an elastic band has been around the tin and got stuck to it over time. But as the pictures show – they look good, together or separately.
