The ballistic groin protector is designed to provide additional protection for the groin area against pistol rounds, fragments, and secondary projectiles.

Its design combines a UHMWPE ballistic insert with a Cordura 500D NIR-compliant cover.

I. Ballistic Protection

The insert meets Protection Class 1 standards according to DSTU 8782:2018.

It protects against:

9×18 mm PM;

9×19 mm Luger / Parabellum / FMJ;

glass and concrete fragments;

shrapnel.

Rated resistance against fragmentation threats is up to 450 m/s.

II. Materials and Construction

The ballistic insert is made of UHMWPE and consists of 25 layers.

The cover is made of Cordura 500D with an NIR-compliant finish.
