Up for sale is a genuine Frank Holton & Co. Couturier Model cornet, from Holton’s Chicago era, circa 1911–1912 (Serial #14483).

This is a confirmed Couturier Model, identified by the distinctive “COUTURIER MODEL” stamp above the floral crown engraving on the bell. This marking distinguishes the true Couturier Models from standard New Proportion horns that carry the same “New Proportion / Made by Frank Holton & Co. / Chicago” wording.

The cornet features silver plate with elaborate hand-engraved floral decoration on the bell and has been fully serviced and prepared for playing.

Condition & Service:

Includes a Bach 7C mouthpiece. A period case may also be included; this will be confirmed before the listing goes live.

An excellent choice for a player seeking a smooth, well-serviced antique cornet, or for a collector looking for a genuine Holton Couturier Model from the company's relatively brief Couturier-endorsement era, circa 1907–1913.
