1998 Japanese Vending Series 3 Green Ooyama's Pikachu #025 – PSA 10 Gem Mint

This is the iconic Ooyama's Pikachu #025 from the Japanese Vending Machine Cards Series 3 (Green), released in 1998 and professionally graded PSA 10 Gem Mint — the highest possible grade. The card features the legendary fully hand-drawn artwork by illustrator Kouichi Ooyama.

Set Background: The Vending Machine Series was a special set of cards released exclusively in Japan. There were 3 series, and each was released on a sheet obtainable in vending machines in which the cards could be peeled off. These cards are all printed on glossy card stock instead of the normal matte card stock. Ooyama's Pikachu could only be obtained from the blue Series 3 special card sheets. The card was never released in English.

Art & Design: The entire card is hand-drawn by Kouichi Ooyama, including the stats, HP, energy symbols, and illustration. The artwork depicts an adorably tired-looking Pikachu standing on a beach. This is one of several "spoof" cards that feature exclusively in Japanese releases, and its playful, unconventional design sets it apart from standard Pokémon cards. The card features a distinctive Pokédex entry: "This Pikachu looks like its Trainer. What a shame."

Card Features: This Lightning-type Basic Pokémon has 50 HP.

Condition: PSA 10 Gem Mint. Professionally graded and encapsulated. Clean surfaces, hand-drawn artwork clear, sharp corners, good centering.
