Pentax MG 35mm SLR Camera C/W Pentax -M 50mm F1.7 & Pentax MEII winder

Pentax pitched the MG as an entry level SLR, which I think does this little camera a bit of a disservice. It was part of the 'M' family of SLR's and was Manufactured between 1981 to 1985.The MG shares the compact design architecture of as its sister cameras, the MV, ME, ME Super, ME-F and MX and was backed by Pentax's huge range of compatible accessories and lenses. 

Easier to use than the fully manual Pentax K1000, the MG is an Aperture Priority only SLR allowing the photographer to pick the aperture while the camera set the shutter speed accordingly.  

Our MG body is the harder to find black version which we've paired up with a classic Pentax M 50mm F1.7 standard lens and a Pentax ME II autowinder which compliments the the camera perfectly. Additionally, all the caps are present including the viewfinder cover and an original Instruction manual

The camera has been serviced recently and is good to go. We think it represents a great introduction into 35mm Photography.
