The Roland PD-14DSX is a 14-inch digital snare V-Pad designed for the V-Drums 7 series. Paired with the V71 module, it delivers precise position detection and over 16,000-step resolution for the natural electronic drum performance. The Multi-Element Sensor System with ultra-high-speed communication reproduces even the subtlest nuances of a drummer's technique. Hand position detection enables seamless switching between head shots, rim shots, and cross sticks. The newly designed pad features an acoustic snare-like construction with a rubber hoop inside the flange hoop. The strainer with LED indicator allows toggling the snare wire on/off and adjusting wire tension, with an assignable push function on the knob. The 3-ply mesh head with mid-layer floating structure provides natural rebound, feel, and response. NOTE: The PD-14DSX is compatible with specific Roland drum modules only — please confirm compatibility before purchasing.
