DESCRIPTION

【Function Introduction】: This plastic coupling sits between power seat electric motor and transmission drive gear housing. It acts like a safety shear pin to protect core components. When excessive resistance occurs on the seat track, the coupling will break first, avoiding damage to plastic transmission housing and preventing motor overheating or blown fuses.
【Failure Symptom】: If you hear the seat motor running after triggering the switch while the seat does not move, this coupling is most likely broken.
【Premium Material】: Molded from upgraded clear/white high-strength resin plastic. It delivers improved toughness yet can still shear off under overload for protection. We adopted clear plastic to differentiate our upgraded unit from counterfeit white copies, as fake items may cause seat transmission damage.
【Fitment Notice】: Fits vehicles equipped with single electric motor seat assembly. Most 1987 and newer models adopted 3-motor seat design and do NOT apply.
