Striking handmade appliqué quilt / textile wall hanging featuring a dramatic red and black color palette with rooster, strawberry, fruit and floral motifs.

The front is constructed from individual decorative fabric blocks arranged in a patchwork design and framed with coordinating red and black borders. Several of the fruit motifs are appliquéd over the surrounding sections and extend beyond their individual blocks, creating an unusual dimensional effect.

Designs include roosters surrounded by flowers, strawberries and foliage, and large fruit motifs that appear to include tomatoes or similar garden fruit. A dense red and black floral border surrounds the central patchwork design, finished with a solid black outer border.

The reverse is solid black.
