About Hackett London

Hackett London began in 1983 when Jeremy Hackett turned his fascination with traditional British menswear into a small shop on the King’s Road in Chelsea. Having worked on Savile Row and spent years searching Portobello Road and London’s markets for beautifully made second-hand English clothing, Hackett initially sold the pieces he found. When demand began to outstrip supply, the obvious solution was to start making his own.

That beginning still explains much of Hackett’s character. Savile Row tailoring sits alongside Oxford shirts, polos, chinos and knitwear, while influences from rowing, rugby, polo and British motorsport give the more casual collections their identity. It is unmistakably British, but rarely stuffy – traditional pieces are softened, simplified and made for contemporary life.

From a tiny Chelsea shop, Hackett has grown into an international menswear name and eventually completed the circle by establishing its No.14 tailoring collection on Savile Row itself. More than four decades later, the appeal remains much the same: classic British menswear worn with a little less formality and considerably more ease.

Hackett launched its dedicated Hackett Sport collection in 2023 as the more performance-led, off-duty side of the brand, which fits this polo particularly well

Hackett London Sport Logo Cotton Polo Shirt – Navy

A sportier interpretation of one of Hackett’s menswear staples, this Sport Logo Cotton Polo Shirt combines the familiar structure of a classic polo with the cleaner, more athletic character of the Hackett Sport collection.

Finished in Navy, it’s an exceptionally versatile piece, working naturally with chinos and tailored shorts but equally at home with jeans or more casual sportswear. The cotton construction keeps it comfortable and breathable, while the Hackett Sport logo gives the shirt a more contemporary identity than the brand’s traditional polos.

Key Features

A good example of the more relaxed side of Hackett – recognisably British in its foundations, but with the sharper, athletic character of the brand’s Sport collection.
