RARE Vintage DECLÉOR Paris Gold Pomander / Hanging Fragrance Diffuser
A beautiful and unusual vintage DECLÉOR Paris decorative metal pomander.
The piece is made as a decorative gold-tone filigree sphere, with an intricate leaf design and a textured finish. It opens to reveal a solid wooden-looking ball inside, which appears to be the original fragrance-absorbing insert associated with this type of pomander….tho this has now lost its fragrance, other potpourri products could perhaps be used inside, however, this is a lovely vintage, decorative item which would appeal to collectors of vintage Decleor and beauty fragrance memorabilia.
It has its original-style hanging cord and loop, allowing it to be displayed from a Christmas tree, door handle, wardrobe or simply as an attractive decorative piece.
The centre is clearly engraved “DECLÉOR PARIS”, adding to its appeal for collectors.
