**Vintage USSR Poljot Automatic 23 Jewels Watch with Day & Date**
Up for sale is a 100% authentic Soviet mechanical watch – Poljot Automatic, manufactured by the First Moscow Watch Factory (1MChZ) in the USSR during the 1980s. This model features a very distinctive TV-style case design, a double calendar, and comes on its rare original factory metal bracelet.
**Specifications & Features:**
- **Movement:** Soviet automatic movement Poljot caliber 2627.H with 23 ruby jewels (can also be hand-wound).
- **Functions:** Hours, minutes, central seconds, day of the week (in Russian cyrillic, e.g., "СБ" for Saturday), and date window.
- **Dial:** Deep dark dial with gold-tone hour markers and hands. Marked "ПОЛЕТ", "23 КАМНЯ", and "СДЕЛАНО В СССР" (Made in USSR).
- **Case Back:** Stainless steel screw-ring down caseback with serial number 129990 and the factory stamp "Автоподзавод" (Automatic).
- **Bracelet:** Includes the highly sought-after original vintage stainless steel bracelet with an embossed "ПОЛЕТ" logo on the clasp.
**Condition Report:**
- **Mechanical Status:** IN RUNNING CONDITION. The watch is ticking strongly, keeping good time, and the automatic rotor winds smoothly. The main calendar changes correctly when turning the hands manually past midnight.
- **IMPORTANT NOTE:** The dedicated quick-set date button at the 4 o'clock position is currently stuck and cannot be pressed. It requires a proper cleaning/service by a watchmaker. Selling as-is for restoration or collection.
- **Cosmetic Status:** Shows clear signs of vintage age and wear. The chrome finish on the case has scratches, pitting, and brassing/loss of plating visible on the underside and side edges (please examine side view photos). The acrylic glass has minor scratches which can be polished out if desired. The dial is clean and preserved well.
