The original Kobe 8 "Mambacurial" model, released in 2013, is making a comeback in a Proto-style design. Inspired by the Nike Mercurial Vapor IX soccer cleat, this colorway features a gradient on the upper. The design transitions gradually from Red Plum at the heel to Pink Flash toward the toe. Electric green accents appear on the tongue, Swoosh, and outsole. The “Mambacurial” text on the inside of the tongue represents the fusion of Kobe’s signature line with a design inspired by the beauty of the game.

This Protro model also incorporates technology designed to elevate your game. Sleek, slim, and surprisingly lightweight, the shoe features a Nike React foam insert to maintain a refreshing feel on the court. The upper is crafted from soft, flexible engineered mesh that wraps around the foot for a snug fit. The grippy traction provides a sensation of gripping the court during quick cuts and accelerations.
