Collection of 36 unset light blue NATURAL Persian turquoise stones in assorted sizes and geometric shapes. The stones are unbacked and are ready to be made into jewelry or can just be kept as collectibles. The stones have classic Persian characteristics: color, matrix, high domes, and overall look. There are 13 larger stones (one has an end chip and another has a hairline crack) and 23 smaller stones. Most of the stones are flat on the bottom and are ready to be bezel set. A few have rounded backs and would be best set in a wire harness or open backed bezel.

Overall, excellent quality and condition. Most Persian turquoise is set in gold, but I have also seen the stones set in silver. Stones were likely cut in the 1970’s. LOW starting price is just over 35 cents per carat. Rare stones!
